This policy describes how Visiting Angels ("we," "us") collects and uses information you provide when applying for employment through our online application, including our SMS (text message) communications program.
When you submit an employment application, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, certifications, experience, availability, and work eligibility. If you consent to receive text messages, we record the date and time of your consent.
We use your information solely to evaluate your application, communicate with you about the hiring process, schedule interviews, and comply with applicable employment laws. If you opt in to text messages, we send SMS messages related to your application, such as interview scheduling links, application status updates, and reminders.
Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of employment or of submitting an application. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact our office.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as necessary to deliver messages through our SMS service providers acting on our behalf.
We do not sell your personal information. We share applicant information only with service providers that help us operate our hiring process (such as messaging and scheduling providers), and only for that purpose, or where required by law.
We retain application records in accordance with applicable federal and state employment record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion of your application data by contacting our office, subject to legal retention obligations.
